Photovoltaic systems are not the only energy technologies that have been branded "green energy generators." However, compared with other forms of energy, solar energy has significant advantages in secondary environmental impacts such as water consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, pollution and social impacts.

 

Sunshine is inexhaustible

The sun shone long before the civilization known to mankind began. Because of its reliability, humans rely on solar energy for lighting and heat. As solar energy is continuously available daily, the capacity of photovoltaic systems has risen the most rapidly among all renewable energy sources in recent years.

 

2. beneficial to the ecological environment

The use of solar energy does not pose a threat to life and the environment - and is very beneficial to the survival of coral reefs. Fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas are highly polluting because they release chemicals and harmful elements to the atmosphere when mined, drilled or transported. According to UN-Water, agriculture has the largest demand of water in the world. Biofuels, which some call clean fuels, consume large amounts of water in irrigation and raw material processing and, in some cases, lead to conflicts over land use and water use. Hydropower stations are also called clean sources of electricity and are widely used as renewable energy sources. But homes and villages are often damaged or displaced by dam projects. River systems have been altered to affect wildlife habitats and freshwater ecosystems. Solar technology has less impact on humans and animals than hydro and biofuels. Although water is used in the manufacture of photovoltaic cells, as a responsible PV company, Yingli takes the issue of water consumption and drainage pollution seriously. Although wind turbines perform excellently in power supply, they generate a lot of noise during operation. Residents living near wind farms react strongly to high levels of noise and many are still unable to adapt even after a long period of time. Photovoltaic modules are not considered to be polluting due to friction and sound generated by the absence of moving parts. Photovoltaic components as the sun is generally quiet. All of these demonstrate that PV modules are cleaner and cleaner than other renewables in terms of manufacturing, operation, environmental impact and emissions.
